This high-energy workshop is designed for young performers who want to master the "big blue world" of musical theater. We aren't just putting on a show; we’re building skills in singing, acting, and dancing to help every student shine like a star(fish)!

Kick off the new year by making a splash! We are thrilled to announce that one of our first community productions of 2026 will be Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
We are seeking a vibrant, diverse cast of actors, singers, and dancers to bring this "tail" as old as time to life on our stage.
This audition-based workshop offers selected students the incredible opportunity to perform alongside our Mentor Team in the same cast.
Participants will gain valuable, real-world theatre experience in a professional-level production environment.

The Triple Threat Mentorship Program at Spotlight Academy of the Arts offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for aspiring teen performers in Bakersfield. Unlike any other program in the area, our Triple Threat Mentorship pairs teens with experienced professional performers who play the same roles in their productions, simultaneously. This unique structure allows your teen to learn directly from seasoned actors, singers, and dancers, experiencing the art of performance alongside those who have perfected it.
Throughout the program, our professional mentors work one-on-one with each student, providing personalized guidance to enhance their skills in acting, singing, and dancing.
